Meet the Instructors:

Terri Hogue, E-RYT

Karen Pedra

Karen is a student of Terri Hogue and completed her apprenticeship in 2005. Karen came to yoga in her search for a healthier lifestyle. Her interests are in offering stress relief and physical activity suitable for all fitness levels. Karen believes in finding joy by being in the moment. Her yoga teachings and practice are influenced by Sean Corn and Rodney Yee.

Karen teaches on Mondays at 6pm and Fridays at noon.

Cindy Grant

Cindy became interested in yoga in 1999.  Her strong personal practice and love of yoga has led her to teach.  Cindy’s teaching style is based on the principles of alignment and the focus of the breath. Cindy’s yoga philosophy is that in addition to stress relief and mental clarity, the physical effects of yoga are transformative; increasing strength, flexibility and stamina.  These benefits are observed rapidly when one returns to the yoga mat with regularity. Cindy is influenced by the teachings of BKS Iyengar, Rodney Yee, Patricia Walden, Adi Amar and Jason Crandell.  Cindy is Yoga Fit certified.

Cindy teaches Tuesday at 8:00 pm and the monthly kids' classes.

Lue Hartman

Lue began yoga in 1974 and since then has studied various forms of yoga such as Integral, Kripalu, Hatha, and Anusara. Since 2003 Lue has studied with Senior Iyengar teacher John Schumacher and, more recently, with Joan White, also a Senior Iyengar teacher in Philadelphia.  Lue has taken teacher training workshops with both of these teachers and has attended numerous workshops and teacher training with other Senior Iyengar teachers as well. Lue has a B.F.A in Dance Performance and Choreography and a Master’s degree in Mental/Health Sciences/Creative Arts in Therapy and is a registered Dance/Movement Therapist.  She brings a rich background of movement studies along with a deep understanding of the human body anatomically and energetically.
