Gentle Yoga- Classes are presented at
a more relaxed pace, suitable for those who are working through or
recovering from illness, surgery, injury or physical disability. This
class is also suitable for expecting mothers who are new to yoga or those
who wish to take level I classes at a more gentle pace. |

Level I Beginners- Learn the basic
principles of hatha yoga with an introduction to asana (postures),
focusing on structure and alignment through use of props when necessary,
and working with breath. Focus is on basic standing postures, forward and
beginner backward bends, twists and restorative poses. Also start to build
foundation for meditation. |

Level II Intermediate- For students
who have completed the level I course and wish to deepen their practice.
Greater attention is given to alignment and structure as we build upon
level I asanas into deeper, more advanced levels of the postures. More
advanced breath work and meditation as well as an introduction to
inversions. |

Level III Continuing- For those
continuing from level II. Strength is built in previously learned asanas
to move into more advanced and challenging poses and sequences and deeper
mediation. |

|
|
|
|
|
Vinyasa/"Flow"- Suitable for any
level. Sequencing of asana to bring warmth and heat into the body. |
|
| |
|
|
 |
|
|
Meditation- A forty-five minute,
drop-in class focused entirely on relaxation and meditation. |

|
|
Family and Children's Yoga-
Periodically we offer workshops for children or for the entire family. A
more casually structured class where fun is the main focus. Games and
stories as well as brief meditation exercises and relaxation practice may
be offered. |

|
Massage- The studio is equipped with a
massage table, and services are provided by licensed massage therapists
during various hours when classes are not scheduled. Please call for an
appointment. |
